Tandabany Dinadayalane is currently Associate Professor of Chemistry, Department of Chemistry at Clark Atlanta University, Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He worked as a Research Professor and Post-doctoral Research Associate in Prof. Jerzy Leszczynski’s group from 2005-2013. He received his Ph.D. degree in 2005 (Chemistry), from Pondicherry University, India, under the direction of Dr. G. Narahari Sastry. He has co-authored more than 50 research articles in highly reputed peer-reviewed journals and 8 book chapters. He presented posters and delivered talks in several conferences. He made significant contributions in the areas of carbon nanomaterials, non-covalent interactions, buckybowls, and pericyclic reactions using quantum chemical calculations. He explored the potential energy surfaces of small organic molecules. Dr. Dinadayalane’s current research interests are in the areas of Bionanoscience (interactions of biomolecules with graphene), designing of hybrid nanomaterials for chemical sensors and alternate energy, and to investigate reaction mechanisms for simple and complex reactions.
