I have over 30 years of experience in materials physics and ultrahigh vacuum technology. My research is focused on elucidating and controlling properties at the surface and interfaces of optoelectronic materials for their applications in electronics and integrated optics. I am committed to increasing the number of minorities in the sciences and engineering while concurrently serving the needs of our industrial and governmental partners.
