I am a Principal Investigator and Associate Professor of Chemistry at Xavier University of Louisiana, New Orleans . I am an alumnus of University of Iowa (PhD),University of Maryland (Fellowship), and University of Pittsburgh (Post Doctoral).

I am also a teacher and enjoy teaching. I use modified Process Oriented Guided Inquiry Learning (POGIL) to teach Physical Chemistry, General Chemistry, and Environmental Sciences. Research incorporated in classroom is an important part of my teaching endeavors.

Research Description

My research encompasses a wide variety of subjects ranging from green solvents to surveying gas emissions from wetlands using experimental tools of physical chemistry, organic chemistry, and engineering. A part of my research focus on early detection of diseases and drug delivery.
