Kyungsuk Yum is associate professor in the department of materials science and engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington. He received his PhD in Mechanical Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) and BS in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Seoul National University. Before joining the University of Texas, he worked as a postdoctoral research associate in Chemical Engineering at MIT and Bioengineering at UC Berkeley. His research interests include bioinspired materials and engineering, soft materials and devices, additive manufacturing (3D/4D printing), and nanobiotechnology.
