Dr. Haeyeon Yang received his Ph. D. in Physics from Brown University at Providence, RI. His research focuses on investigations of optical properties of semiconductors and quantum nanostructures, including photoluminescence, quantum dots and wires fabricated by epitaxial, colloidal, and laser interferential techniques. His recent work includes the study of laser interaction with materials for the fabrication of novel nanomaterials. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed journal papers, and his research has been funded by NSF, NASA, and the Air Force Office of Scientific Research.
